What You'll Study in our Performing Arts Program

Whether you're planning to transfer colleges, join the workforce or both, DCC's Performing Arts program allows you to pursue your own unique talents and interests. With associate degree programs in Performing Arts, Theatre and Music and a certification in Music Performance, your learning and development take center stage at DCC.

Performing Arts

Develop your unique skills in several performing arts course areas, especially theatre, music and dance

Performing Arts: Theatre Track

Establish your skills and knowledge in theatre within the context of a larger artistic curriculum including music, dance and visual arts courses, along with general education classes. 

Performing Arts: Music Track

Music track students are required to study an instrument, voice or composition in private lessons, and have numerous opportunities to perform in large ensembles and act in staged musicals.

Music Performance Certificate

A one-year certification program designed to prepare students to audition for a four-year program in applied music or a conservatory program.
