What You'll Study in Our Performing Arts-Theatre Program
In DCC's Theatre program, you’ll learn what to expect from a career in the performing arts, from your first audition to your first job. Whether you see yourself acting, writing or in the director's chair, the spotlight’s on you at DCC.
DCC allows you to focus on developing theatre skills within a broad performing arts curriculum including acting, directing, scriptwriting and more. Beyond your coursework, you'll gain hands-on experience working on fully integrated live performances on campus and in the community.
And, speaking of community, you’ll hone your craft in the heart of the Hudson Valley — home to dozens of theaters and venues, and just a train ride away from New York's legendary Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.
