What You'll Study as a Visual Arts Student
At DCC, you'll build your professional portfolio, find your creative community, and gain the studio experience you’ll need to transfer to a bachelor's program and begin your career in the arts.
Visual arts students at DCC usually go on to complete Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts programs. You'll build a strong foundation across multiple art studio disciplines while also having the opportunity to focus on drawing, painting, ceramics, photography, graphic design, or mixed media.
Our visual arts alumni have pursued careers in fashion design, interior design, product design, museum and gallery work, art restoration, arts administration, art therapy, display design, animation, graphic design, photography and studio art.
