What You'll Study in our Graphic Design Microcredential Program
Boost your marketability, advance your career and enhance your skills with our 4-course microcredential program in graphic design. You'll focus on design theory and practice, including effective use of industry standard Adobe software like InDesign, Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
Don't want to stop there? You'll have a head start on our associate degree in Visual Arts. Our visual arts alumni have pursued careers in fashion design, interior design, product design, museum and gallery work, art restoration, arts administration, art therapy, display design, animation, graphic design, photography and studio art.

ART 110: Two-Dimensional Design
A foundational studio course that addresses visual dynamics on the 2D picture plane.
ART 140: Foundations of Graphic Design
Intro to the history of digital media and the practical applications of design using
digital images.
ART 145: Graphic Design: Layout & Typography
Learn InDesign and explore typefaces, fonts and layout design in this introductory
course.
ART 264: Web Design
Intro to HTML and CSS markup languages, Javascript, and software for creating websites.

Upon successful competition of the Graphic Design Microcredential, you’ll earn a digital badge as proof of your accomplishment.
