Suzuki Program

For ages 3 - 18. Suzuki philosophy states that every child can develop musical ability and should begin study at an early age. In this program, students receive weekly 30 minute lessons and one group classes (violin or guitar). Attention is given to tone, expression, aural awareness, memory and technique. Parental involvement in lessons, classes and the home practice is essential to the child's success. With permission of the instructor, parent, and child may share a semi-private lesson in which both learn to play the instrument. Payment plans are available.

Guitar for Beginners

Learn the basics of playing guitar: chords, strumming, finger-picking, how to play solos, fundamentals of music and technique. Lots of "hands-on" experience in a variety of styles, including alternative, folk, blues, pop, classical and flamenco. You'll finish this course able to play simple tunes and chords. Students must bring their own guitar or contact the office for rental information.
