Flexible Technical Training Programs at DCC @ Fishkill
You can take a wide variety of technical training in the mechatronics lab at DCC @ Fishkill. These trainings are mainly intended for technicians working in industry but do not require previous experience. The training format will be flexible—you won't need to meet at a specific day and time each week. Complete your learning with online material and by communicating with instructors.
Reserve time with instructors in the lab for:
- Hands-on lab equipment time
- In-person instruction / review of learning materials
- Assessment/ certification
You'll be expected to complete all necessary materials and assessments of courses and trainings within the timeframe of the semester. Use completed trainings to gain credits in electrical technology AAS degree program courses.

Connect Credit-Free Trainings to Credit ELT Program Courses
If you want to pursue an A.A.S. degree, your trainings can stack into several courses that fulfill the requirements of DCC's Electrical Technology (ELT) program. (All credits will require prerequisites, assessments and a proficiency exam. Math Prerequisite for all credit courses: MAT 184 or MAT 132.) Contact us for specific information.
