Each year, over 250 students benefit from our scholarships, receiving the extra support they need to pursue higher education. Dutchess Community College (DCC) is our community’s bridge to a bright and better future. Join us in making a difference by sponsoring, attending, and volunteering at our events. Harmony and Horizons: Transforming Lives Through Music and the Arts

The DCC Foundation and the DCC Academy of Music harmonized to put on our First Annual Fall Music Fundraiser on November 6 at Millbrook Vineyards and Winery. Participants enjoyed performances by talented students and alumni, a lively raffle and a selection of wine and appetizers—all in support of scholarships and arts programs. Bernard Handel Community Leadership Award

The Bernard Handel Community Leadership award recognizes individuals who have given their time, leadership, and a record of achievement to not-for-profit organizations.

Bridge to the Future Award

This award recognizes individuals and organizations that distinguish themselves in working with others to enhance education, economic vitality, community wellness or civic responsibility in the mid-Hudson Valley.

Golf Tournament

Save the date! The DCC Foundation Golf Tournament in Memory of Jack Orcutt will take place on May 19, 2025. Email dccf@sunydutchess.edu for more information and to request a form to register your team.

Craft Fair

Each year, DCC hosts a Craft Fair with more than 100 artists on the weekend following Thanksgiving. The Fair has become a much-anticipated event as it allows people to get a head start on their holiday shopping by purchasing one-of-a-kind gifts.

Lecture Series

Endowed Chair awards offer select faculty members the chance to bring educational programming to campus. Among the speakers have been authors, television commentators and even a Nobel Prize-winner.
