Mathematics & Computer Science
The MCS Department offers programs in computer science, computer software support, computer information systems, computer networking, information management, and web administration; the department also offers courses and programs in mathematics - from algebra through calculus. We also offer math courses for non-STEM majors such as Survey of Mathematics and Statistics.
Mathematics and Computer Science faculty are dedicated professionals who focus on teaching and student success. The department employs state-of-the-art educational tools and technology. Department offices are in the Allyn J. Washington Center on the north end of campus, room 110.
ASA at DCC
DId you know there's a student chapter of the American Statistical Association at DCC? ASA student chapters provide experience, education, and opportunities for those interested in the world of statistics and data analysis. DCC is the first and only community college with an ASA Student Chapter.
