Yes, semester credit hours are the same as credits. For example, a course that is worth 3 semester credit hours is equivalent to 3 credits.

Yes! MAT 184 is offered every semester. Go to the course schedule, select the semester you're interested in, then click "Submit." Choose Mathematics as the subject area and search for MAT 184: College Algebra and Trigonometry.

What You Study in Our Data Analysis Microcredential

Our Data Analysis microcredential is designed to equip you with the essential skills to excel as a junior data analyst. You'll gain hands-on experience in Python and R programming, database management, and data visualization. 

As a DCC student, you can also join our American Statistical Association (ASA) student chapter to build a network and gain real-world data analysis experience by participating in DataFest events organized by the American Statistical Association, such as DataFest@Vassar.

Leverage this microcredential to start a career in data analytics or upskill in your current job! Credits can lay the groundwork for an A.A.S. in Computer Information Systems or A.S. in Computer Science degree. It’s also a valuable add-on for students already enrolled in our Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Information Management, and Business programs.
