What You'll Study in the Adolescent Education 7-12 Mathematics Concentration

You're great at math. At DCC, you'll become a great math teacher. You'll enhance your own skills with a robust mathematics curriculum, including linear algebra and three levels of calculus — while also building your foundation in the principles and practices of teaching adolescents.

Our program is jointly registered with SUNY New Paltz, making your path from an A.S. to a B.S. and finally to full New York State teaching certification easier than solving a simple equation.
