Diana Kiernan, LMHC, Director of Mental & Physical Health Services

Diana is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with nearly two decades of experience in the mental health field. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a minor in Educational Psychology from SUNY College at Oneonta. She took some time off and later received a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marist College. Diana utilizes an eclectic approach in her sessions, grounded in the person-centered approach. She is completing her Emotional Freedom Techniques Certification from EFT Universe. EFT is a technique that stimulates acupressure points while focusing on situations that present an emotional charge and draws from various theories of alternative medicine – including acupuncture, neuro-linguistic programming, energy medicine, and Thought Field Therapy (TFT). Diana looks forward to bringing Emotional Freedom Techniques to DCC campus as a stress-reduction practice that is available anytime to anyone.

Jill Sosiewicz, LMHC, part-time counselor

Hanna Brinnier Perrault, LMSW, part-time counselor

As a DCC alum, Hanna is happy to be a part-time counselor at the College. After graduating from the Human Services program, Hanna earned her Bachelor of Social Work at Marist College. Soon after, Hanna received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University in 2021, with a clinical concentration of mental health & trauma. She enjoys working with many clinical issues, such as trauma/PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, body image/eating issues, and relational difficulties. Hanna recently received a certification as a Grief Informed Professional (CGP) and has a strong appreciation for grief counseling. She is also a Certified School Social Worker in NY. On both clinical and community levels, she is passionate about suicide prevention, psychoeducation, and spreading awareness of mental health. With the belief that therapy is not “one size fits all,” Hanna draws from a variety of approaches and strives to meet clients where they are with a person-centered approach.
