Fall 2024

Fall 2024 Student Art Exhibit (August 26 – September 20)
The student exhibition featured paintings, drawings, digital illustrations, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media and more. A reception for the artists will be held at 5:00 on Wednesday, August 28.

The Clothesline Project (September 30 - October 25)
The Mildred I. Washington Gallery will partner with the Grace Smith House to present t-shirts designed by victims of domestic abuse and their families. There will be a reception October 2. Additional events will be held in partnership with Hispanic Heritage Month and The Counseling Center. See our events calendar for more details, coming soon.

A Memorial Exhibit of Tarot Artwork (November 4 - December 13)
Featuring work by Rachel Pollack. Opening reception on November 6 from 5:00-6:30. Gallery Talk with Susan Aberth and Cat Willett on November 7. 

Spring 2025

Spring 2025 Student Art Exhibit (January 21 - February 14)
Opening reception on Wednesday, January 22.

The New Hudson Valley School (February 24 - March 28)
Landscapes by Daisy de Puthod and Abstract Paintings by Jean-Marie Martin with Water as a Theme
Opening reception at 5:00 on February 26. This exhibit will partner with Women’s History Month and will include a lecture by Margaret Craig on Women of the Hudson Valley School.

His Room As He Left it (April 7 - May 16)
Installation by Ariel Kotker. Opening reception with live music on Wednesday, April 9.

Fall 2025 

Fall 2025 Fall Student Art Exhibit (August 25 - September 26)
Opening reception at 5:00 on September 27. 

Photography by Jason Torres (September 29 - October 31)
In partnership with Hispanic Heritage Month. Opening reception at 5:00 October 1; and an Artist Talk October 2 at 12:30.

The Portrait Show (November 10 - December 19)
An exhibition of portraits by faculty and regional artists. Opening reception November 12.

Spring 2026

Spring 2026 Student Art Exhibit (January 20 - February 13)
Opening reception at 5:00 on January 21. 

The Fashion Show (February 23 - March 27)
Art and designs by Compton Quashie. Opening reception or performance at 5:00 on February 25. In partnership with African American History Month and Women’s History Month, the Artist’s talk will be 12:30, February 26.

Dani Restack Media Arts (April 6 - end of semester)
Opening reception at 5:00 on April 8 with a Gallery Talk on April 9.

The exhibition features work from our students. Opening reception is January 24, 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the Mildred I. Washington Gallery.

kristallnacht
To commemorate the 85th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the Mildred Washington Gallery presented KRISTALLNACHT, a multi-media installation by Dean Goldberg.

KRISTALLNACHT (November 8 - December 8)
To commemorate the 85th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the Mildred Washington Gallery presented KRISTALLNACHT, a multi-media installation by Dean Goldberg. The opening reception was followed by a keynote presentation and panel discussion in the Greenspan Dining Room featuring Dean Goldberg, Dr. Werner Steger and journalist Rosemary Armao from 7 - 9 p.m. Learn more here.

Juried Alumni Exhibition (November 14 - December 9)

The show highlighted the work of twenty-two DCC alumni and featured paintings, drawings, digital illustrations, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media and more.

Spring 2022

120 Minutes (February 22 - March 18)

A solo exhibition of work by portrait artist and part-time PVAC faculty member Carl Grauer.
