Scholarships for New DCC Students
Scholarships for incoming DCC students range from $500 to full tuition. Unlike loans, they never need to be repaid.
Are you a Dutchess County high school student graduating in the top 10% of your class? You can attend DCC for two years tuition-free with a Charles and Mabel Conklin Scholarship for Academic Excellence. Application opens in January!
If you’re a Dutchess County high school grad who doesn’t qualify for the Conklin Scholarship, we encourage you to apply for an incoming student scholarship. Awards range from $500-$6,000.
Scholarships for Current DCC Students
Our DCC Foundation awards more than 125 scholarships to continuing or graduating DCC students every spring. Both full- and part-time students are eligible.

Get Ready to Apply
The scholarship application will be open again in early 2025. Scholarships awarded to current students through the DCC foundation range from $500-$4,000. Your first step will be to review your options. You may be eligible for more than one type of scholarship, so keep your mind open and keep an eye out for scholarship workshops hosted by The Writing Center.

The State of New York and countless organizations and businesses also offer scholarships. Based on merit, need and other factors, these awards can go a long way toward covering your education costs. Explore everything available to you.
New York students from families earning up to $125,000 can attend DCC or any SUNY school tuition-free with an Excelsior Scholarship. (Note that these scholarships convert to loans that require repayment if you move out of state soon after graduation.)
