Behavioral Sciences
The BHS department offers instruction in academic and applied behavioral science areas including criminal justice, early childhood education, liberal arts teaching, mental health services across the life span, chemical dependency counseling, and early childhood caregiving.
We provide transfer opportunities for our students and to prepare them for careers in all areas of the behavioral sciences.
The department currently consists of 20 full-time faculty members, two non-teaching educators and approximately 40 part-time faculty members. The BHS Department shares a deep commitment to teaching and learning, and all members of our faculty strive to make themselves accessible to their students. BHS offices are located in Hudson Hall, Suite 403, and throughout Taconic Hall.
