AHBS Biology Open Lab
The AHBS BIOLOGY OPEN LAB will offer in person tutoring for courses in for Biology and Anatomy & Physiology courses. including but not limited to: BIO 030, BIO 103, BIO 105, BIO 106, BIO 115, BIO 130, BIO 131, BIO 132, BIO 212, BIO 231, MLT 105, MLT 202, or PDC 101.

Mondays: 12:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., drop-in, W 328 | Ms. Sarah Browne

Tuesdays: 12:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., drop-in, W 328 | Ms. Sarah Browne

Wednesdays: 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., drop-in, W 328 | Ms. Sarah Browne

Thursdays: 1:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., drop-in, W 328 | Ms. Viala
Models, microscopes, microbiology and preserved specimens allowed.
Fridays: 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., drop-in, W 328 | Ms. Viala
Models, microscopes, microbiology, and preserved specimens allowed.
Saturdays*: 10 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., drop-in, W 328 | TBA
Models, microscopes, microbiology, and preserved specimens allowed.
*Only on the following dates: 10/5 and 10/12
Holidays & Finals Week Availability:
We will be closed Labor Day, 9/21, Indigenous People/Columbus Day, 10/14, and Thanksgiving Recess 11/27 - 12/1.
Tuesday, October 15 is Monday make-up day. Open Lab will meet per Monday hours.
A new schedule will be issued for Final Exam Week. Locations and times may vary..

Open Lab Policies
College policy states that children are NOT allowed in laboratories or classrooms at any time. If you are not enrolled in a DCC lab course, you will be asked to leave.
Standard safe laboratory practices and policies will be enforced in the Open Labs. You MAY NOT make up missed labs in Open Lab.
All students must sign in and out of Open Lab with their DCC Usernames.
W 324 is a DRY LAB only. No cats or Micro are allowed, only models.
Scheduled Open Lab times include 15 minutes for cleanup at the end of lab.
There is limited space in W324 and students will be admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis when necessary.
