Individual Lessons for Adults

We offer individual lessons (in person and online) on all instruments and voices for classical, jazz, pop music, and more. Students may register for multiple packages. To register for individual lessons, call (845) 431-8916.

Spring 2025 Individual Music Lesson Packages

Students may select from trial packages (4 lessons), full semester packages (14 lessons), and multiple packages (8 or 12 lessons) ranging from 30, 45 and 60 minutes. Price varies depending on the number of lessons. Please see the chart below for pricing options.

Lesson Packages with Monthly Payment Plan

This chart lays out pricing of our packages which qualify for the monthly payment plan. This breakdown is based on the 3-month plan, which requires a $25 enrollment fee and a 25% down payment which are processed immediately. You choose to pay following payments on the 5th or 20th of each month. Any packages with a total tuition less than $500 are not eligible for the payment plan.

Location

In-person lessons:

Lessons will be held at either the main campus (53 Pendell Road Poughkeepsie, NY 12601)­­ or the Fishkill campus (461 Rt. 9 Fishkill, NY 12524)

Online lessons:

Our instructors are experienced in delivering high-quality musical instruction in an online format using Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, etc., and providing technical assistance on how to get everything set up. To take online lessons and classes, students will need a reliable internet connection, a device (smartphone, computer, tablet, etc.), and a place where they can make music.

Instruments and Materials

The Academy offers a variety of rental instruments. Please inquire if needed. 

If you have an instrument, please be sure it is in good working condition. If you are unsure of the condition of your instrument, we strongly encourage you to go to a qualified instrument technician to get it evaluated. Evaluations are typically free or for a small fee.

String instruments are sized and fit to the student, who should be measured by the teacher or the strings retailer.
