Dutchess Community College functions under the auspices of the State University of New York and is sponsored by Dutchess County. The College is governed by a board of trustees consisting of 10 members, four appointed by the governor of the State of New York and five by the Dutchess County legislature. The tenth member is the student trustee elected by the students annually.

Board of Trustees

Five members of the Board are appointed by the Dutchess County Legislature, four by the governor, and one by the student body.

Office of the President

DCC's sixth president, Dr. Peter Grant Jordan, joined the College in August 2021.

Shared Governance

PSO, SGA and PSA offer advisory opinions and make recommendations to the president and the Board of Trustees.

Cabinet

The President's Cabinet brings together DCC's management to share updates and opportunities and to provide input on strategic initiatives.

Executive Leadership

The Executive Leadership Team works closely to ensure the smooth operation and continual pursuit of the mission, vision, values and goals of DCC.
