POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — MARCH 10, 2025 — Dutchess Community College (DCC) is now an official PSI Testing site for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) exams, providing a convenient local option for students, aviation professionals and the public. The College administers all FAA exams, encompassing 19 exam categories and 102 individual exams.

Until now, students often had to travel significant distances—sometimes to other states—to complete their FAA exams. With on-campus testing now available, DCC is making it easier to earn certifications, advance careers or explore new opportunities in aviation.

The new designation comes as DCC continues to expand its aviation programs, including:

This expansion reinforces DCC’s commitment to preparing students for in-demand aviation careers.

The Testing Center is also open to the public, serving aviation professionals, career changers, hobbyists and business owners. FAA exams cover topics such as pilot qualifications, drone operations, aircraft maintenance and safety regulations. A full list of FAA airman knowledge tests is available on the FAA website.

Exams are currently offered on Thursday evenings and Saturdays, with plans to expand to Monday through Wednesday evenings. For details, visit www.sunydutchess.edu/testing or contact Keith Tombrello, coordinator of testing, at 845-790-3735.
