The MusicLink Scholarship Fund provides music lessons and other educational opportunities
for talented low-income students ages 18 and under who demonstrate exceptional musical
HOW TO APPLY (for parents of children ages 4-18)
1) Ask your child’s music teacher to email a short recommendation discussing the student’s
musical interest and dedication to firstname.lastname@example.org.
2) Get their free or reduced lunch form from the cafeteria and send to Laura Doe at Laura.email@example.com, Fax (845) 431-8988, or:

You will be contacted to schedule an interview/brief audition at the college, or informed
that there are no remaining funds and to reapply next semester.
Before the interview/audition go to https://www.sunydutchess.edu/academyofmusic and click on the semester’s Credit-free Classes under LEARN MORE on the right side,
and choose up to three group classes that fit your schedule.
If awarded a scholarship, it will usually include a package of twelve 30-minute individual lessons, and 1-2 of the group classes of your choice. You will be sent registration links and asked to pay the $10/semester
processing fee for each lesson package and group class ($20-30 total for the semester).
