DCC's Office of Workforce Development & Continuing Education serves thousands of individuals each year through a variety of non-credit classes in areas including career preparation, workforce and professional development, high school equivalency and English as a Second Language classes, and group and private music instruction and youth programs.
Those interested in preparing for a new career should explore vocational offerings, which typically can be completed in weeks or months. Many new online options have been added as we adjust towards a more remote environment, including those which offer certifications upon completion. Tuition for non-credit classes varies by course type.
The Office also provides customized workforce training to local business and industry, government and the nonprofit sectors and partners with Dutchess County on economic development initiatives, including START-UP NY.
