BLS Heart Code Skills Testing -Recertification

For those wishing to complete the American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support Provider course as a blended learning option (online portion, followed by a hands-on skills session). The BLS HeartCode Refresher skills testing is specifically for individuals that have a current AHA BLS Provider certification or those that have an AHA BLS Provider certification that expired within the last year. If you are obtaining an AHA BLS Provider certification for the first time or if your AHA BLS Provider certification expired more than a year ago, please visit the BLS HeartCode Original Skills Testing registration page instead. 

Prior to registering for the in-person skills testing, students must first complete the online didactic portion on the American Heart Association website. Upon successful completion of the AHA HeartCode BLS online portion, candidates may register for the skills testing. Proof of completion of the online segment must be presented. To schedule the skills testing appointment, please call the office at 845-431-8390. Appointments are scheduled at least one week in advance of the testing date.

Individuals will receive their AHA BLS Provider certification within 14 business days of completing the skills testing session.
