Welcome to the 61st Dutchess Community College Commencement! Graduation is the most significant day of the year for our students, faculty and staff. It marks the culmination of years of work and great achievement, and is a very proud moment for graduates and their loved ones.
This year the College is awarding diplomas to 1,006 graduates in 46 programs of study; 65 percent have earned Associate in Science degrees, 20 percent Associate in Applied Science, 12 percent Associate in Arts and 3 percent have earned career certificates.
While we are unable to celebrate together in person, we do hope you enjoy this video/slideshow featuring hundreds of photos submitted by graduates, as well as remarks by DCC President Pamela Edington, Ed.D., Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro ’01 and other campus constituents.
Please be sure to read the letter from President Edington and the Commencement Program listing all graduates (see yellow links). This page will be available through the summer; please feel free to share the link with family and friends!
As always, diplomas will mailed at the end of August. Each graduate also will receive a 2020 tassel, compliments of the DCC Foundation.
‘Think Ahead’ Graduation
DCC also is proud to recognize the second cohort of graduates in the Think Ahead program, a partnership with community agencies that teaches life and job skills to young adults with developmental disabilities. The 11 graduates are celebrated in the video/slideshow and program in the yellow links.
