The purpose of this club is to offer to students interested in architecture an expanded
knowledge in building materials, new concepts in design, and new techniques in building
construction. This would be achieved through field trips to construction sites, structures
of unusual design, and to industries developing building materials, as well as visits
from guest speakers such as architects, contractors, and building officials. The club
will sponsor projects and discussions related to architecture and the College.
Women In Architecture is a subgroup to support the enrollment of women in the program.
Architecture Club meets Friday at 12 p.m. in Taconic Hall Room 302
