Notice: The Testing Center at the Poughkeepsie campus is under a phased reopening
based on the guidance of SUNY, New York State, Dutchess County, and Dutchess Community
College administration. Face mask, photo ID, and completed health screening questionnaire,
will be required when coming on campus. Appointments are required; the College is
not permitted to proctor walk-in testing at this time. Due to social distancing, ONLY
the student will be allowed into the Testing Center at the appointment time. Currently,
there is no availability for testing at Dutchess @ Fishkill. The College also continues
to administer tests remotely (online).
All accommodations MUST be approved by the Office of Accommodative Services prior to scheduling course tests with the

Remote (Online) Testing:
Remote (online) hours are:
Monday, Thursday, and Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Wednesday: 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Appointments are required for all remote tests. Appointments must be scheduled a minimum
of two days (48 hours) prior to the desired test date. Appointments are in 90-minute
blocks of time. If more time is needed for a test, students should book multiple consecutive
appointments. Students will need access to a computer that has a web camera and a
microphone to take a test remotely (online). Valid photo ID is also required.

Students will be notified in writing of approved accommodations.
Students must forward their electronic copy of the accommodation letter to the Testing
Center at DCCProctor@sunydutchess.edu before scheduling a testing appointment.
Accommodations are not retroactive. Students who choose to take a test without accommodations
may not re-take the test with accommodations.

Scheduling an Appointment Utilizing Testing Accommodations
Students who need to use the Testing Center for an exam should schedule an appointment
with the Testing Center at least two days in advance of the testing date to secure
a seat. Schedule an appointment by clicking here. Students should make this appointment for the time when the rest of the class is
scheduled to test. If this is not possible, students are to speak to their instructor
to ensure an alternate time is acceptable. Once students make an appointment with
the Testing Center, please inform the course instructor.
