Notice: The Testing Center at the Poughkeepsie campus is under a phased reopening
based on the guidance of SUNY, New York State, Dutchess County, and Dutchess Community
College administration. Face mask, photo ID, and completed health screening questionnaire,
will be required when coming on campus. Appointments are required; the College is
not permitted to proctor walk-in testing at this time. Due to social distancing, ONLY
the student will be allowed into the Testing Center at the appointment time. Currently,
there is no availability for testing at Dutchess @ Fishkill. The College also continues
to administer tests remotely (online).

Remote (Online) Testing:
Remote hours are:
Monday, Thursday, and Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Wednesday: 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Appointments are required for all remote tests. Appointments must be scheduled a minimum
of two days (48 hours) prior to the desired test date. Appointments are in 90-minute
blocks of time. If more time is needed for a test, students should book multiple consecutive
appointments. Students will need access to a computer that has a web camera and a
microphone to take a test remotely (online). Valid photo ID is also required.

Make-up testing is a service that the college provides for students who missed their
tests or quizzes in class. Students should refer to the course syllabus and/or consult
with the course instructor to review the instructor’s make-up testing policy. Students
who miss an exam in class and need to make it up must first reach out to the course
instructor before scheduling an appointment with the Testing Center.

Students can go online to schedule an appointment by clicking here. Students must make their appointment at least two days prior to taking their test.
If the exam must be taken within two days, please contact the Testing Center at email@example.com
to find out if there is still availability. Once students make their appointment with
the Testing Center, they need to inform their instructor.
