DCC South in Wappingers Falls serves the residents of the southern part of Dutchess County and Putnam County. Almost 15% of the DCC student body take classes at DCC South. A variety of core and liberal arts courses are offered, as well as a regular selection of business and criminal justice classes. In addition, the College’s Paramedic Program is situated here. During the fall and spring semesters, DCC South offers approximately 150 course sections and about 20 sections are held during the three summer sessions.
The easily accessible DCC South site, right next to the Wappingers Falls DMV offices, include 22 multi-purpose classrooms, a science lab, an emergency medical technologies lab, three networked computer classrooms, and lots of parking! All DCC South students have access to registration, student financial services, academic support services, academic advising, and career counseling. In addition there are a variety of credit-free offerings to include an HSE program, ESL program and other personal and professional development courses and programs.
