Hudson Hall’s most prominent feature is the Francis U. and Mary F. Ritz Library, located on the second and third floors. Large windows provide sweeping views and
a bright, open atmosphere. The Ritz book collection is supplemented by a vast collection
of electronic resources. Students, faculty and staff also can search these resources
from home and laptop computers by using the library's Off-Campus Database Access System.
Computers in the library are available for student use, and the facility offers a
comfortable environment for doing research and studying. Group study rooms provide
space for students to work on group projects.
Hudson Hall also houses classrooms, studios and laboratories. The walls of Hudson
are adorned with beautiful artwork that was donated by local and regional artists
with ties to the College, and art and photography from well-known artists. In addition,
Hudson is home to the Dr. Mary Louise Van Winkle Professional Teaching Learning Center.
