POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — NOV. 4, 2024 — Dutchess Community College will host its Fall Open House on Saturday, Nov. 16, providing an invaluable opportunity for prospective students and their families to explore campus, meet with faculty and staff, and learn about academic programs and student life. 

The self-guided event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with activities and information designed to help attendees discover the resources available for a successful college experience. Visitors can tour the campus, including the athletic and student housing facilities, engage with various academic departments and learn about the more than 60 degree, certificate and microcredential programs offered at DCC.

Attendees will also have the chance to connect with current students to gain insights into college life. Additionally, admissions, financial aid and academic advising staff will be available to answer questions and guide families through the enrollment process. 

With one of the lowest tuition rates in New York State, more than two-thirds of DCC students graduate debt-free. Whether students are interested in completing the first two years of a bachelor’s degree program, pursuing a skilled profession or upgrading their credentials, DCC offers a supportive and vibrant community for all students to thrive.
