“I wouldn’t trade my experience at Dutchess Community College for anything. The faculty are a major reason why I enjoyed DCC so much. Enrolling at DCC allowed me to try other art forms including ceramics and graphic design, not just my chosen medium of animation. The faculty here have been nothing short of amazing. My art professors helped me find my own style and gain confidence in my work while teaching me new techniques. One of my teachers even helped me land an internship on campus!”

“My experience at this school is something I’ll hold on to forever. Dutchess set me up to be successful and I couldn’t have done it without the faculty and their support. I’d recommend DCC to any student considering enrolling here – the affordable tuition and many opportunities make it a great school.”

“My experience at DCC was one of personal and professional growth. I was involved in many extra-curricular activities, including the Student Government Association. The faculty and staff on campus have been an instrumental part of my time here. I got the sense that nearly all of the teachers, advisors, counselors and other staff are totally dedicated to the students they assist. Without them, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.”

“Going to DCC is one of the best experiences I’ve had in my life! When I first came here, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do. I chose art as my major, and eventually I became president of the Art Club. I even traveled to Japan as part of a Communications program trip. The professors in the Visual Arts program are always willing to give you feedback and advice. My time at DCC is a big reason why I now want to be an art teacher!”

“The faculty and staff at DCC have helped me tremendously. All of the criminal justice professors I’ve met will do anything to help their students succeed. And the campus is small enough that it creates a real sense of community. I was able to meet many new people through my first year, and even got the opportunity to play on the baseball team.”
