About the Program

Dutchess Community College has been named as a supporting campus of SUNY’s inaugural Empire State Service Corps! Seven DCC students will be selected for 300 hours of paid community service work (10 hours per week during the academic year). You'll also attend monthly meetings to discuss your service/impact, share your experience and what you're learning, and get to know other members. Some of these positions will be at DCC!

  • Taking climate action working with leading State agencies
  • Disaster relief and mitigation after severe weather events
