In an effort to limit exposure to second hand smoke for our Students, Faculty and Staff, Dutchess Community College has eight designated smoking areas on the Main Campus and one at DCC South. Smoking on Campus is permitted only at the locations shown on the Campus Map and outside on the northwest corner of DCC South. All areas are signed accordingly and please remember to use the cigarette butt receptacles provided.

The designated smoking areas are as follows:

. South of Taconic on way to the Day Care Center
. In the patio between Hudson and SSB
. In the gazebo near Pine Grove
. To the left of the Falcon Hall main entrance
. On the landing between Dutchess and the main walkway
. On the patio between Washington and Drumlin
. The loading area of CBI
. Near Receiving area of Physical Plant
. The West side of DCC South
