The Library Liaison Program exists to establish formal and informal, ongoing working relationships between the library and individual college departments.
The goal of the Liaison Program is to enhance communication between the library staff and college faculty, resulting in improved resources and services for all academic programs.
The Liaison Program consists of two coordinators: a liaison librarian to each academic department, and a faculty member selected from each academic department.
In addition, the library encourages academic departments to include their liaison librarian in departmental meetings, reaccreditation review committees, and in any other forum where the quality of library support for the program is a fact to be considered.
