Getting to campus by Dutchess County bus is now a lot easier, faster and less costly! Dutchess County Transit launched “Route H” – a service designed in collaboration with DCC and Marist. The bus offers regular stops at locations including the two colleges, the Poughkeepsie transit hub (for convenient transfer to other buses), train station, Hudson Plaza, Red Robin, the Poughkeepsie Galleria and more. Monday through Saturday, the first bus arrives to DCC at 7:47 a.m. and the last one departs at 10:40 p.m. (See Sunday bus schedule here.) Riders may catch the bus at bus shelters or, if none are close by, by flagging down the driver at a safe location along the road.
Also, DCC students, faculty and staff with bus-validated ID may ride any Dutchess County and City of Poughkeepsie bus free of charge at any time! To obtain the required sticker, visit Security at the main campus or Dutchess South. Only those with a sticker affixed to their ID will be allowed to ride the bus at no charge. A new dated sticker is required each school year.
