Cap and gown pickup is scheduled for Monday, May 14, Tuesday, May 15, and Wednesday, May 16 from 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the DCC Bookstore. This is the only time caps and gowns will be available for pickup. These caps and gowns are yours to keep.
At this time you will be given:
A Line-of-March card with your name on it. Please keep it with you; it will be used to announce your name during the ceremony. Also, please complete the e-mail and mailing address information on the back to ensure you receive a copy of the picture proof from the photographer.
Tickets – Each graduate will receive four (4) tickets to the commencement ceremony. Tickets must be presented to gain entry to the venue. No one will be admitted without a ticket. This includes small children; tickets are per person, not per seat. Please note: The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 p.m. During the procession, guests will not be able to enter the venue until the procession is complete.
On Tuesday, May 15, there will be a graduation informational meeting held at 4:00 p.m. in Falcon Hall. This meeting is required for all graduating students. There will be a BBQ immediately following the meeting. This is for graduating students only. No guests please.
If your CPA was 3.20 or higher at the end of the fall 2017 semester, you will be graduating with Academic Honors. Academic honor stoles are available for purchase at the cap and gown pickup for a cost of $18.00 each.
