Transfer Scholarships

Scholarships are available from many different sources. Below is a list of colleges and universities that offer scholarships to transfer students. Additionally, the DCC Foundation also offers scholarships for students graduating from DCC and transferring to a four-year school. More information about Foundation scholarships can be found here

Berkeley College Transfer Opportunity Program (T.O.P. Scholars): A T.O.P. Scholarship is awarded to an eligible student who completes a Free Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA), receives a valid Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR), and enrolls full-time in one of Berkeley’s bachelor’s degree programs after receiving an associate degree from a United States community college. For an eligible student who enters with and maintains a GPA of 2.50, scholarships start at 25 percent of tuition, after all federal/state grants and other scholarships have been applied. A student with a higher GPA may receive as much as 50 percent of tuition.

Transfer Scholarship Program for full-time day students based on gpa. These scholarships range from $3,000 to $11,500 and are awarded at the time of initial admission to the College. To determine your eligibility for a scholarship send a message to admissions@dc.edu. Include your cumulative college gpa and indicate whether you will live on campus or at home.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Transfer student are evaluated for a transfer scholarship after they file the FAFSA. PTK Scholarships are available. External scholarships can be found here.)

Manhattan College

All accepted transfer students will be considered for academic scholarships during the application evaluation process. Transfer students who receive one of our Presidential, Dean's or Chancellor's Awards have demonstrated exemplary scores in high school and on their college coursework.  To be eligible for renewal of their academic scholarship, recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 while in attendance at Manhattan College.  Scholarship notifications are initially mailed home during March for fall entrants and November for students enrolling for the spring semester.

Pace University - Graduates of DCC with a 3.2 GPA who plan to attend Pleasantville NY campus will receive a $25,000 yearly, renewable scholarship.

St. Thomas Aquinas College - Students with a 3.4 cumulative GPA are eligible for a scholarship worth 50% of their tuition if they are members of this national honor society for community college students and maintain their high academic standard.
