Campus Tour — Washington Center

Allyn J. Washington Center for Science and Art

The Allyn J. Washington Center for Science and Art, built in 1999, is located at the north end of campus.

This modern academic building houses state-of-the-art science, mathematics, and art classrooms and laboratories. Faculty offices in the departments of Allied Health and Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Physical and Computer Sciences, and Visual Arts are located here as well.

The Washington Center also houses the Mildred I. Washington Art Gallery that exhibits work by well-known local, regional, and national artists, as well as work created by Dutchess students and faculty. The Art Gallery is open Monday through Friday and visitors are welcome.
