Dutchess Community College held its annual graduation ceremony May 18. Associate degrees and career certificates in 48 programs of study were conferred on 1,142 graduates, who ranged in age from 18 to 68. The graduation ceremony was held at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center with almost 4,000 in attendance.

To educate high school and college students and their families about how to qualify and maintain eligibility for New York state's recently announced tuition-free Excelsior Scholarship, Dutchess Community College will hold a public information session on April 26 at 7 p.m. in Bowne Hall, room 122.

A 100-piece exhibit of artwork created by five artists will be on display in Dutchess Community College's Mildred I. Washington Art Gallery through May 12.
