The Family Educational Rights andPrivacy Act of 1974 protects the confidentiality of your records at DCC. Personally identifiable information is not released other than to those professionals and federal or state agencies with a legitimate right to know. However, Directory Information is routinely released:name, dates of attendance, date of graduation, degree or enrollment status. If a student does not wish directory information released, he/she must submit a written request stating so to the Registrar at the beginning of each semester.
